USDA Solar Grants Are Now Available for Rural Businesses and Farms

People who own a small rural business or a farm are now eligible to receive a USDA RUral Energy for America Program (REAP) grant. This grant covers up to 25% of the cost of going solar.

Deadlines for grant applications of $20,000 or less are due on: May 2, 2016 and November 2, 2016

Deadlines for unrestricted grants (up to $500,000) are due on May 2, 2016
